LB-West acquired the site as a motel and worked with the City of Glenwood Springs to pass an ordinance that streamlined the conversion of hotels to extended-stay lodges allowing longer-term leases. The River Lofts is a new mixed-use, LEED-certified building located within the Basalt River Park neighborhood that includes six riverfront studios and two 2-bedroom condominiums – each with a large south-facing deck overlooking the park and river, covered parking, and private storage units.
